Descriptive text of Jepara

 Jepara regency  is a one district in Central Java province. The regency bordering with sea of Java in the west and the north, Regency of Pati and Kudus regency in the east, as well as Demak district in the South. Also Jepara regency include Karimun Islands, which is located in the sea of Java.
 Jepara offering a variety of natural beauty and charm of the coastal tourist attractions to visit. The area is well known as one of the centers producing wood carvings in Indonesia is also the the place of birth a famous Indonesian national hero women's emancipation, namely R.A. Kartini.
 Jepara district located in the eastern north coast of Central Java to the west and north it is bordered by the sea. The eastern part of the district, a mountainous region.  
Jepara regency also includes the Karimun Islands, which is a cluster of islands in the sea of Java. The largest island is the island of Karimun and Kemujan. Most of the area is protected Publications in the Marine Reserves. The crossing to the islands served by a ferry that departed from the Port of Jepara.  Jepara district administrative region land area of Jepara regency 1004.132 km2 with a coastline of 72 km, consisting of 14 districts were divided over some 183 villages and 11 urban village narrowest Regional District of Kalinyamatan (24.179 km2), while the largest area is the District Keling (231.758 km2). Most of the area is dry land, amounting to 740.052 km2 (73.70%) the rest is wetland, amounting to 264.080 km2 (26.30%). Administratively Jepara district is divided into five regions:
  1. Jepara Center: Jepara, Tahunan  
  2. South Jepara: Welahan, Kalinyamatan 
  3. North Jepara: Karimunjawa, Mlonggo, Bangsri, Kembang, Donorojo, Keling. 
  4.  West Jepara: Kedung, Pecangaan. 
  5.  East Jepara: Batealit, Mayong, Nalumsari Pakis Aji.
